VIRTUAL SHOW HIGHLIGHTS

Following that successful introduction of virtual popup events, here’s another taster of products and services visitors looking to catch up with suppliers old and new can expect to discover along the aisles…

SDJ PACKING was founded in Arezzo, in the heart of Tuscany, Italy and its goldsmith district. Sharing production between factories in Italy and Asia enables the company to quickly meet any client requirements, while offering a competitive relationship between quality, price, and service.

“Every day we support companies to anticipate and prepare for new trends, accelerating their growth and success,” says Andrea Centrella of SDJ. “Our Made-in-Italy business now designs, produces and sells packaging for jewellery, creating integrated and customised solutions for truly effective presentation of its clients’ products. At

SDJ Packing, we are continually developing and always looking for innovative production techniques to meet all market demands. Our desire is to experiment and create useful, captivating and functional products.”

After setting up her label in London in 1994, Kate sold her work internationally and featured in top fashion press, including Elle, Marie Claire and Vogue. Now based near Cardiff, she makes eclectic jewellery collections in silver, gold, base metal and semi-precious gemstones. Inspiration comes from such sources as Celtic heritage and legends, nature, her family history, art movements and futuristic themes… but with a contemporary, fashionable twist. Etched metal, cast components and unique stones feature in her work.

Kate has designed jewellery for many leading companies including Next, DCK, Clogau Gold, Swarovski and CL Edwards and she also collaborates on exclusive collections for National Museum Wales. To celebrate over 20 years of creating jewellery, Kate has launched on this site with pieces from her archives and brand new collections available to order. Each piece is made in the UK.

DADO - THE SMALLEST LASER WELDER FOR PROFESSIONAL WORKSHOPS

A leading provider of equipment & services

Offering 3D wax printers, 3D scanners, laser welders and engravers and software, Freeform Fabrication has a target audience of manufacturers of jewellery, individual designers, jewellery and watch shops (especially those who offer repair on-site, those who outsource repair and wish to bring it in-house and those wishing to introduce repairs but not yet doing so), watch-makers, goldsmiths and silversmiths.

“I feel this show creates a new platform and a meeting point, which is what the trade seems to lack right now,” explains Freeform’s Efrat Sharon. “More engagement and contact points, even though virtual, are a refreshing concept. In the last months we participated in zoom meetings (one-to-one and in groups) as well as Facebook virtual exhibitions setup by our suppliers. A virtual trade show costs a fraction of an actual trade show and hopefully it will allow an interactive engagement and an opportunity to be introduced to new potential customers while offering an opportunity for us to make the product introduction more personal to each one via the TJA connect platform and or video demo meetings etc.”

Guild of Valuers & Jewellers is one of the UK’s leading specialists in providing professional jewellery, watch and silverware valuation and registration services. Guild Valuations are offered through retail jewellery stores across the UK.

At the show the Guild will be hoping to connect with jewellery retailers around the UK who are looking to offer valuation services. With many shops now running on reduced staff it’s a great opportunity to outsource this business.

The show’s perfect for us during these uncertain times as we have limited exposure to the trade,” says the Guild’s Paula Grenney. “It’s wonderful to have the opportunity to make new contacts and build a new virtual community amongst us all.”
