In-real-life trade fairs may be mothballed for a while, but that doesn’t mean that hooking-up with friends, colleagues and customers old and new is out the window. 7
On 28th October the digital doors will be opening on the soft launch of Jewel Ads inaugural Virtual Trade Show – ahead of the official launch in February 2021. Here’s a taster of products and services visitors can expect to discover along the aisles.
Zeemou Zeng is an innovative, premium and cutting-edge designer jewellery brand. Founded in 2017, the eponymous label specialises in distinctive contemporary fine jewellery and modern luxury crystal. The award-winning designer combines the traditional with the modern to create directional pieces – that can be worn by men or women – that have a chic-androgynous aesthetic. The hallmark of a Zeemou Zeng piece is the playful movement of gemstones.
His first collection – Melody – explores unique gemstone setting possibilities. Originally set with pearls each 18ct gold piece incorporates a movement mechanism – the pearls slide to create new looks but also a different ‘tune’ according to the length of the tube used. Today the designs also feature gemstone beads such as onyx or lapis.
The Eye is Zeemou’s new collection. Equally playful, each piece is designed with an eye, in which the central stone turns from front to back and the colour changes due to a different stone being set on each side. The collection of rings, brooches, earrings and pendants is worked in 18ct gold with diamonds, rubies, emeralds, sapphires, amethysts and onyx.
Before completing jewellery making and designing courses in London, Zeemou studied interior design and architecture and his imagination and fresh, independent spirit has also translated into a collection of luxury crystal glasses, inspired by the cut of gemstones. Becoming a global lifestyle brand is in his sights.
