Online pop-up trade event expecting over 2000 visitors

Jewel Ads launched the first of its four pop-up trade events on the 2nd February. Co-founder Michelle Daniels says: “It’s all gone crazy and blown all expectations out of the water!”

The online directory has been looking at the current marketing opportunities for suppliers and how retail jewellers start their buying process for finding new suppliers, service providers and products and how this format works in a modern digital world. Jewel Ads Daniels understands this from her retail jewellery background of running the family business: “This is backed up by putting ROBO at Jewel Ads core (Research Online, Buy Offline) to which as led to a partnership with the new trade show at Excel, London – The Jewellery Show.”

Daniels adds: “The response from the jewellery trade has been phenomenal every way; the trade hasn’t reacted to anything in these number before. Just take our LinkedIn event post – we have had nearly 800 professionals publicly announcing they will attending our event.”

“Jewel Ads is addressing a need in the jewellery industry. It has given Affinity a great opportunity in the form of advertising and being visible to the correct areas of our trade. It’s great to be involved in the first innovative online event that is specific to the jewellery trade,” says Scott Meechan, Affinity Brokers Ltd,

Considering that 50-70% B2B buyers typically reach out to suppliers after researching online, a 2019 TrustRadius study found that 59% of all B2B buyers are millennials.

If you want to engage these buyers, you should consider that millennials grew up alongside smartphones and social media, so it comes as no surprise that when compared to other generations they are far more inclined to use those technologies to start the search process. So if you’re not online, using social media like LinkedIn or using services like Jewel Ads now is the time leap and start communicating with your customers and prospects in the way they want to. This will build sales opportunities, build brand awareness and shorten the sales pipeline.
