Jewel Ads is taking a significant step forward by trialling virtual reality (VR) technology for its next online trade show.

Jewel Ads is taking the trade show experience to the next level by introducing virtual reality (VR) technology for its upcoming online trade show. This new technology will allow jewellery trade suppliers to showcase their products or services in virtual showrooms via their lookbooks, providing a more immersive and interactive experience than ever before.

With this new VR technology, Jewel Ads aims to revolutionise how retail jewellers search for trade suppliers and start engaging. This new approach will help them reach a wider audience and provide a more engaging experience whilst showcasing suppliers to their best.

At this early stage, Jewel Ads is using the VR showroom as an added service to the already proven simple aisles and lookbooks that everyone finds easy to move around; whoever the technology has no bounds and can integrate AR for trying on products to live chatrooms, download information and run video to a full VR experience.

Daren Daniels, Co-Founder, adds, ‘We are very excited to be bringing these new developments. VR and AR are industry-changing technologies, and both areas are developing fast, so it is good to start using them now. We also added many other new benefits to the services we provide exhibitors, including digital brochures, intro videos, marketing videos and now VR Showrooms, all to help promote the supplier to the trade and provide a more engaging experience to the retail jewellers. .’

The new benefits are already attracting exhibitors and driving large numbers of trade visitors to the online shows, with the first of six online shows in February attracting over 5500 trade visitors. Jewel Ads is looking to increase its team and services this year.
